I have an newer model fridge that the compressor locked up, can a compressor from another fridge be used?

most refrigerators arent designed to have compressors replaced. its a closed system with no service ports or shut off valves. also if the copper isnt sized right then it will freeze up. i think they build them like that so they can sell more refrigerators.
