Problems with registering on ps3 online?

Everytime i try registering a screen name it says this screen name cant be registered. the only time it works is when i do alskdjflaksjdflkasjdf . ive tried so many combinations using underscores and replacing o's with 0's. whats the fix for this? ive followed all guidelines about characters and starting with a letter
