Im a diehard atheist and i love bluegr gospel music, is that wierd?

i grew up in the bible belt of north georgia. real southern baptist, snake dancin imbred yokels up there. is this just a throwback to my childhood or is there something more sisister at work here.... like brainwashing through subliminal messages? thats what the christians said about rock music making that loser kid kill himself, right?
