Tough time potty training my little over 2 yr old daughter?

I've heard over and over that it is easy to potty train little grils. Being living proof, I find this theory invalid. She is a little over 2 yrs old, and I have watched for every sign that she is ready. She goes hours, and I mean hours without wetting her diaper, and she usually goes poo right after lunch....in her diaper. I have put her on the potty for the last month right after lunch, hoping she will go in it. And I can put her on the potty for 20 mins at a time several times a day, and NOTHING happens, not even a smidge of pee. She is showing every indication she is ready to be trained. Sleeping all night without a wet diaper should be a sure sign, or so I've been told and read. Professional and friend advice is sooo false. Any other advice out there?

I play VFK, only because VMK closed. VFK is beta, so I know to be patient with it. But just a few minutes ago I found out that there are "Member Packages" and special member items. OMG! Why? I feel really really depressed ?

I've felt the same way sometimes. A lot of these symptoms can be stress or anxiety related. I find a lot of times that when I'm really stressed out I experience chest pain and it feels like my heart is beating irregularly. If the doctor says that you're fine, you probably are, but if you really feel as though someting is wrong, then you should go see another doctor or a specialist to make sure. Otherwise, maybe talk to someone about your anxiety and try to see if there's a better way to handle it or prevent panic attacks. It'll definately help :)

How many of you flew LOT Polish Airlines?

I've flown on LOT twice (both were round trips) and on both times I had a stop in Warsaw. LOT airlines is pretty nice. The flight attendants are nice and helpful. It helps if you speak Polish, but if you don't, it's okay there are many who fly on LOT who don't speak it. The one thing that sort of sucked was the food... I recommend you bring some dry foods in ur baggage that you take on board ie. chips, crackers, etc. Overall, flying on LOT is nice. Also, when you have the stop in Warsaw, just follow the flow of people; they know where to go. It really isn't confusing, but if your jet-lagged, you might get lost just like on any other airline :D I hope you have fun on your trip! Poland is a GREAT country and has great food. Make sure to try a candy called krowki (KROOV-KEY). They are cream-fudge candies that are AWESOME! Well, enjoy your trip! I hope this was helpful!

first off i'll give some info that might help you answer, im 15, male, 5' 7 ", im in shape, im about 145-155 pounds, and i dont smoke, drink, or do any drugs. ok so my left side of my rib cage sticks out right under the chest area a bit at the top so there's a lump, its been like that since i can remember is that normal?, and just recently i,ve started having chest pains, whenever i inhale it hurts, i looked at a picture of the human body and where it hurts when i inhale is like between the pectoralis major and the deltoid, and somtimes it seems like the pain changes places around that area, and once when i inhaled i pushed my shoulders forward and my pectoralis major, the part thats part of your arm pit like strained or something and was in pain for like 30 seconds, i thought i was having a heart attack or somthing at the time, so wtf is going on here?

I think you did the right thing. I'm a 17, a senior in high school, and recently moved out of my house because of a very bad relationship with my father. Right now, the most important thing for you to do is make sure you maintain a relationship with your daughter. My mother calls me every day. I hated it at first, but now that school has started back talking to her is sometimes the only good part of a horrible day. Even if your daughter doesn't always answer or want to talk, it's still essential you stay in touch. You should invite her over when the family is doing things together. I got pretty pissed when I wasn't invited to my little sisters birthday party. Another thing you should probably do is let her know that if she's not living with you, you're not going to help her financially. I know that sounds cruel, but that's what my parents did, and it turned out to be a good thing. I've had to learn to budget money and rely on myself. I know that I can always come home if things get bad (something else you should make sure your daughter knows), but in the meantime I'm having to learn how to live off of minimum wage. Tips on weight loss ?

I am trying to lose thirty pounds not by any certain time limit, but I am replacing two meals with slimfast, and then one normal meal a day. I also take abcuts before meals. I workout to biggest loser and other excercise dvds six days a week, plus stay on the go alot. I am not seeing any results yet though when should I start to see some and what can I do to speed up results. Im one of those people if i dont see results fast I get discouraged and think whats the point of all this hardwork. Any one got any good tips or maybe better dvds I can add to my workouts.

Sounds like a mild infection, possibly a yeast infection. The best thing you can do is keep it very clean, washing well, and using a mild soap, but only mild to prevent further skin irritation or drying, as soap does that. The contrast agent wouldn't cause this, as more skin that that would be swollen, the foreskin is the same skin as the rest of your body after all. Best I can suggest is to wash well, and wash your hands before touching it. Best of luck, and I do hope your MRI results turn out well, that always can be a daunting thing.

im a soccer player... i play forward, mid, and defense.... i like being on the side...... instead of just kicking the ball out.. if you are clear take it up to mid field so u can open up the field, and that way when u lose the ball u have enough time to get back and cover that forward... so a right defense or a left defense are also like mid fielders becuase u r on the wing and the wing supose to go up not just stay at defense and doesnt have to kick the ball out every time she steals the ball.. take it up and see who is open so u can make a good play and score

How do I domesticate my adopted feral cat?

I adopted a baby feral cat (Ed - about 5 months old). My older cat Echo (1 1/2) has sort of warmed up to her. Echo doesn't initiate attacks or hiss as much, and even if she does, Ed doesn't do anything. Ed isn't afraid of my dog Nico ( 3 1/2) either, so that is a relief. However I'm worried. The foster mother said she's shy and I understand that. But she is terrified of ME and not the other animals. The foster mother also said that she doesn't hiss or swat, but last night she actually hissed at me for the first time and literally mauled my arm and face. Echo has stopped coming when I call her and she refuses to sleep with me anymore. I know this is stupid, but I feel really hurt that everyone is so upset. In the last battle of the Avatar movie, why did the general send in ground troops to engage the navi?

In the recent James Cam movie, the last battle scene included a convoy of airships escorting a bomber. In a scene earlier in the movie, this same unit attacked and knocked out a big tree the blue people really liked. We also saw that the arrows and weapons of the blue people had no effect on the airships. The last Mission was to destroy the Deity of the navi. So why were there troops dropped onto the ground? what was the point of that? the general already knew they couldn't be attacked from the ground by the navi when they were in the air. If he had just added those troops to his convoy in the sky and ignored the navi on the ground, he would have beaten the navi because all those people and animals they gathered would have been taken out of the playing field. I waited till 11:45 until she texts me and says, not coming cuz I don't want to see you. I need a real man in my life. So, fine, now that my hearts just sank, I looked for a rebound, and called a girlfriend from highschool. She says to me that she's not attracted to me, and don't contact her anymore, sorry for leading me on. So, fine, now I'm feelin like ****. SO I go the fire station to cover a shift. I missed 4 IVs that shift. That depresses me because I miss like 8 out of 10 and am sick of it. We had calls all night, and I got one hour of sleep. Today, I was late for work, and my dad chewed my *** for an hour on how dirty my trailer is, and how I don't have pride in anything, and am a "slimy f###in pig.". Now I'm here, writing about it. I've been depressed for awhile now, and these last few days are pushing me closer and closer to the edge. Make me feel better please.

Is it possible i have some sort of psychological issue due to severe trauma?

I usually find myself immersing my mind and focus into fantasy worlds, either by sitting and forcibly making myself go into what one might describe as a "trance," but I wouldn't call it that, I usually just sit and focus on something until i can immerse myself into it and lose my grip on reality totally. I also will find myself reading stories, usually adventure and romance ones, to try and fill the holes that are there. I fill as though i am naked and unprotected when not in these stories or fantasies. I also feel very stressed and unpleasant in general, and will become severly moody. My guidance counselor thinks i may have depressive bipolar issues of some sort, and i am quite hoping so, for it would at least be some relief from all of this. I long for the fantasies to become real, so i can go out and adventure and unknown realm, just to get away from the real world. I am beginning to feel that reality is just a story, that i am a character in, in a sense, and that i just want it to end, and a new one to begin. Now, this may sound crazy, but i wish that i actually was in a story, one that i could live happily in, and be...safe. I realize that i do have psycologoical trauma, for i have had a horrid life, my school sucks, and i get hared or beat up almost every day. I hate school, and i try to force myself not to go into a "fantasy" in the middle of cl. I am failing in three of my cles, the ones that i get hared in, because i unwillingly go into these fantasies just to escape from the pain. I literally feel as though i am a character in some sort of horrid novel about pain and sorrow, and fruitless attempts to make the pain stop. I really need help, and just don't know where to turn. i have a problem ...to be honest it is MYSELF. My girl betrayed me once and came back into my life. She was away from me for 3 months and the reason was another guy. I knew this and I had a very very bad time then. Donno what happened, but she came back into my life again crying. I am sure that many airline employees have low morale right now, not just at BA, but the entire industry is struggling. The airline industry is very cyclical and the airline industry is still in a down-cycle. How do I get rid of standing water in my yard?

I have an EXCESSIVE amount of standing water in my yard. (Just an idea I took about 300+ gallons out today with a 5 gal bucket). I live in a house with a septic tank and the standing water sits over the field lines of the septic causing it to stay full making it hard for us to wash clothes, dishes, shower, etc. So with that being said things like plants or trees that take a lot of water will not work because the roots cannot come into the field lines. I am cornered in by neighbors and my yard sits lower than everyone else's so the majority of the water comes to my yard. There are no near by ditches or things like that for me to drain into. I will be ok with saturated soil by the fence line as long as it does not sit over the field lines and fill my septic. I have thought about perforated drain pipes leading to a large water basin at the back of the yard but I am open to any suggestions.

Hair breakage :(?

without any research I was desperate enough to trust a woman who used the hot fusion method to apply extensions to my hair. It looked great at first, but the hair was incredibly heavy and would dry out in a matter of days. I had to continue to go back to the salon Anyway, I had them removed after a month of wear and was DEVASTATED by the results. My hair was twice as thin as it was before the application! I wore clip ins to disguise the damage. It is now over a year later and what has really seemed to help was a layered cut. When to plant my blackberry bush?

I live in North west Arizona and recently was allowed to dig up a small blackberry bush that was dying from lack of water. It's not a bargain if it needs major repairs, and sometimes they are hidden to your eye. I have been buying, renting, and selling properties for many years, it is how I made the bulk of my money. Property is always a good investment - IF - you keep your eyes open, your emotions out of it, and follow the proper steps. Also I would have to ask you why are you saving $1,000 a month when you have the outstanding debt that is going to take 3 years to pay off ?? If you can, only save half that amount each month and put the other half towards paying off that debt. The sooner you get that off your back the better. You seem to have a good handle on where your money goes, that's important, so is saving, so you are mostly on the right track with your finances. Also remember that if you don't have the 20% to put down on a property you will have to pay the mortgage insurance until you have 20% equity in the home built up, and it can be expensive. Make sure you check that out. Best of luck. In the long run, purchasing is a good bargain - renting gets you nothing, no matter how many years you rent you walk away with zip.

13th birthday tea party?

I'm 12, soon to be 13. I was thinking about ideas for a party and I came up with a tea/dinner party. It wouldn't be anything childish like "go on a fairy scavenger hunt", but it wouldn't be anything serious like etiquette cles. The colors would be hot pink and black and instead of hot tea we would serve sodas in teapots. I thought about the mad hatter theme, but I really don't like Alice in Wonderland. The whole thing would be set up under a canopy-like-tent out in the country, and we would have frozen hot chocolate, sandwiches ( i hate cuber so that's totally out of the question), cookies, scones and of course, cake. Everybody could dress cute but kind of shabby chic. And for entertainment we would make homemade bubble bath, play board games etc. I'm not big on huge parties so I would have a small get together with maybe 7 girls including me. Don't fit in with my boyfriend's family and (some) friends?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3.5 years. He is a single dad and 13 years older than me. His sisters and "the gang" that grew up together back home are all about 10 years older than me. They all are married with kids (except for one). When his family comes over, it's almost like he forgets me and has a lot of fun with them. He is always busy with everyone else and doesn't even look at me or talk to me.
