How long till my Boykin puppy "Boone" is potty trained?

You have answered my questions about "tinkling", now I need a bit of encouragement regarding the finished product. Boone is just 9 weeks old and still wakes up in the middle of the night to go outside. I know his little bladder is just that, little. I also know that it will take months for him to be totally trained, but when will I be able to stop following him around the house? Im trying to be patient but would like to hear some encouraging words.....help......
