You're only liable for the room the damage occurred in. $300. isn't unreasonable to replace the kitchen floor though - you might want to just let it go. I'd be asking for a kick-back for moving early though and call it even. Having to move early inconvenienced you - it's not your problem she had to move back into the house - and you could've said no.
