How can I convince my dad to let me get mice?

i would listen to your dad sorry. mice are easy too lose because of their small size. Also thnk about how the cats and dogs may react to it. I know u probably wont let them in, but they may become curious and knock the cage over when ur asleep or something. Also they are very stinky. Please dont give me a bad rating, just trying to be helpful.
